Getting started with Smengo
Smengo helps you plan shift schedules for teams of 15 to 300 people and see your whole team for the month in one table.
What Smengo is
Smengo is built around a matrix schedule: rows are employees grouped by department, columns are the days of the month, and each cell shows a person's status for that day - working, vacation, sick leave, day off, or your own custom status.
Smengo calculates daily coverage as you go and warns you when fewer people are on shift than you need. Roles and access let you show each person exactly what they should see.
The HR dashboard shows your team in numbers — headcount, hours, events, and tasks. The onboarding board helps you guide new hires through each stage of adaptation.
Behind the schedule sits a full platform. Employees check in and out via the Telegram bot and mark when they prefer to work. The shift marketplace offers vacant shifts to suitable people automatically. The AI assistant answers questions about your team, delivers a morning briefing, and generates a draft schedule that respects work rules, the labor budget, and the demand forecast. And at the end of the month the platform builds a timesheet — planned versus actual hours, ready to export for payroll.
